One of "Those" Days

Yep! We all have them..."Those" days...when everything that can go wrong does!

I had one of "Those" days, a few days ago. I got up to find a note that said, "Mom, I don't think the internet is working...still." It had not been working for over 24 hours. Ouch! No e-mail! No Facebook! No Twitter! No MckLinky Blog Hop! No checking to see where I was on Danielle's waiting list! I felt so disconnected! (And, I was, from my cyber friends/family! But, because I am blessed to have friends in many communities that surround me, I was not really disconnected!)

I went to work, only to discover that I had my pants on backward!! (I had to fire all of my work friends as my "keepers", again! Other incidents include, but are not limited to: shirt inside-out, 2 different shoes, no makeup, etc...can you tell that I get dressed in the semi-darkness of my bedroom each day, so as not to disturb my retired hubby?) Although the day did not get better as far as mistakes go (I made more than my share), I was able to laugh at myself for the rest of the day! Who shows up at work with their pants on backward...and, no one notices?!?

Being a Christian does not mean that bad things (or even weird things) will not happen to you. But, being a Christian is all about how we handle situations. (John 16:33 is my "peace within the storm" verse.)

LIVE for Jesus! LOVE like it is your last day on earth! LAUGH often!
